Dr. Madhan Thiruvengada

Dr. Madhan Thiruvengada is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience in robotic joint replacements, arthroscopy, sports injuries, trauma, and complex reconstructive surgery. Trained in the United Kingdom and Europe, he combines international exposure with a patient-centred approach to deliver advanced, evidence-based orthopaedic care and exceptional clinical outcomes.

He is recognised for performing India's first AACR cartilage restoration procedure and for pioneering enhanced recovery (fast-track) joint replacement protocols that have significantly improved recovery and patient outcomes following hip and knee replacement surgery.

As Programme Director – Apollo International Fellowships, he has led international orthopaedic fellowship programmes in collaboration with leading institutions in the United Kingdom, mentoring orthopaedic surgeons from India and across the world.

An active contributor to research, surgical education, and international collaborations, Dr. Madhan has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and leadership roles in academic forums.
