What is an On-Demand Shift?
An On-Demand Shift enables healthcare institutions to meet short-term and immediate workforce requirements by engaging verified healthcare professionals for specific shifts or time periods.
How is the Professional Fee determined?
The Professional Fee is communicated before the booking is confirmed and is as per the applicable MedLynk professional fee schedule / agreed terms for the engagement.
Is anything deducted from the professional’s fee?
Professionals receive their agreed Professional Fee in full. No MedLynk platform fee is deducted from the professional’s Professional Fee. Any applicable statutory deductions, such as TDS, will be made as required by law.
How are professionals paid?
Once the shift is completed and the required timesheet or completion is approved, payment is released to the professional in accordance with the applicable payment and settlement process.
Does the institution need to secure the payment before the shift is confirmed?
Yes. The applicable amount for a confirmed shift is secured in advance before the booking is confirmed. This supports a secure and timely payment process following completion of the shift.
Can an institution cancel or modify a shift?
Cancellation or modification is subject to the applicable MedLynk cancellation and refund terms. Institutions should review the applicable policy before confirming a shift.
